PRIX CAPRILLI

Area 12 is the only Area in the country that offers this test as a team competition at the Area Dressage competition  each year.

 The Prix Caprilli test is judged on the rider – marks are given for accuracy for the movements of test. For instance  shape of the circles, turns, transitions, use of aids & style. Rather then the way the pony goes, so an obedient pony can win a Prix Caprilli test.

The test is similar to a dressage test  but it includes  two jumps, one  fence  jumped out of trot at 1’6”  & the other out of canter at 2’ .
